1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to learn about the Roadster and request a reservation. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
2. What we've done
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings in order and a “Skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard support, including the menu, drive-mode tabs, configurator and cookie dialog, with visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA ratios on our dark theme.
- Form fields with visible labels, inline error messages linked to each field, and an error summary that receives focus.
- Descriptive text alternatives for vehicle illustrations and technical drawings.
- Animations that respect your device's “reduce motion” setting, with no flashing content.
- Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 pixels and layouts that reflow down to 320 px wide without horizontal scrolling.
3. Known limitations
The side-scrolling feature ticker is decorative and hidden from assistive technology; the same information appears in the Design section. If you encounter anything else that's hard to use, please tell us.
